TECWEC System is a French company specialized in the integration of low level software such as Operating system, Bios, firmware and drivers.

17 years of R&D have enabled the company to develop AcidOS, a new Operating System  that is able to answer to IT modern challenges.

What is not AcidOS

AcidOS is not a version of a Unix kernel.

AcidOS is not a new modified Linux distribution.

AcidOS is not “Open-source” or “Free Software”.

AcidOS does not use the BSD IP stack.

AcidOS is not an interface between the BIOS and existing OSes.

AcidOS is not just an hypervisor.

AcidOS is not a “Unikernel”.

AcidOS does not use more than 4 MB (“Footprint”).

What AcidOS really is ?

An operating system fully written from scratch and designed for the future:

Monolithic kernel with 88K lines of code, integrated firmware and boot-loader. Fully written in C and Assembly language. Multitasking, Multi-core, Parallel constrained time.

Designed and improved since 2002, it integrates the latest technologies:

64 bits, Multi cores, 128 Po Ram, IPv6, Virtual Container Engine Type 1, Tpm*, V-JaC (Virtual Just a Code), Gigabit Ethernet, M.2 (A/E M/B), USB 3.1, Sata…

* The TPM is used at boot time to unscramble the dead code, according to ANSSI’s recommendations

AcidOS services are secured at Kernel level :

Bare metal hypervisor type1, IP Routing/Bonding, Firewall, JAVA Engine (for test only), DHCP Server & Client, DNS Server & Client, HTTP Server, Telnet…

AcidOS is very small

AcidOS is the “base of trust”

100% owned and proprietary software

Standard Architecture

AcidOS Architecture

THE TPM ALLOWS TO GRANT THE OS SIGNATURE:

penetration from any malicious code at Boot time is impossible.

Special function for advanced debugging

By virtualizing itself, AcidOS gives the opportunity to fix applications and to track their operation at the core of the kernel as if they were on hardware. AcidOS is the only OS in the world that can watch itself work.

COMPETITIVE ADVANTAGES OF AcidOS

Not subject to standard

AcidOS is an Operating System (OS) that is not subject to the standards (Posix, system V…)

100% proprietary

AcidOS is 100% owned and independent.
There is absolutely no reference nor any
use of any external third party open-source
software code or other licences.

V-JaC

AcidOS has developed a new and unique feature, the “Virtual Just a Code®” (V-JaC®).  It can run any other third party application without any other OS inside a VM.

Run itself into its VM

AcidOS is the only OS in the world able to run itself into its own virtual machines.

Easy to update

AcidOS can be updated On The Air, in LoRa or in 2G.

Very small and light

AcidOS weight is 512 Ko and relies on 90 000 lines of code. Whereas Linux 4.2 has more than 20 millions lines.

No need to recompilate

AcidOS can run any third party application without the need of recompilation

Beyond security vulnerabilities

None of the security vulnerabilities that
impact CPU, firmware, hardware back-
door and BIOS/UEFI, such as Foreshadow,
Meltdown, Zombieload or Spoiler; are
effective against AcidOS.

Bare Metal

AcidOS can run any other existing OS into bare-metal virtual machine (VmWare mode).

Many features

Server and Networks virtualization

PCs and servers can be virtualized regardless of their current OS version. I/O (serial, parallel, IDE…) can be simulated. Former WinXP, 98, NT…. protected in an encrypted VM.

Active DDOS defense

AcidOS has written its own Realtek Gb Ethernet driver (under NDA). Protected by an isolated process, AcidOS can actively defend itself against a DDoS attack. AcidOS responds and defends itself.

Start, VM and first ping in less than 3 seconds

AcidOS cold start is faster than a TCP timeout on Debian. Routers, network equipment, Set Top Box…

A software made for OSes and hardware that are not homogeneous

Thanks to its very good abstraction capability, AcidOS can run an application ran on Win 98, on a motherboard equipped with Gigabit Ethernet and USB3 ports and an HDMI 4K port!

SDN Services

AcidOS allows to isolate network functions in different VM, or assigned to different physical ports. Operator’s VM0 can create a daughter VM with isolated third party code.

Production system

With its modern architecture, AcidOS can use VMs for production, but also dedicate other VMs in parallel, to usefully monitor production applications, without disrupting them.

Weight of an empty VM = 64 kb

AcidOS only adds 64kB to execute code in a VM. Starting a VM takes only a few microseconds.

Virtio support

The use of VirtIO allows simulation and resource sharing between the different VMs. Sharing of the graphics card is in progress.

We are looking for investors in 2021.

Tecwec System has raised more than €1.3millions during the last 4 years. All the ressources has been dedicated to the development of the code and the prototype.

We go to a multibillions markets with business model based on licence selling. We plan to reach a turnover of €300 millions in the next 5 years

They contribute actively to the success of Tecwec System

Do you know Tecwec Networks?

Tecwec Networks develops and distributes the last generation of SDN router called Wanrover.

The Wanrover® router addresses many current and future routing issues, whereas the SD-Wan market main actors don’t have any solution yet. The virtualization and routing capabilities of the Wanrover are therefore a key factor in major technological advance for all routing equipment manufacturers (OEMs).
